Mick Jagger took on his first major acting role in nearly two decades when he appeared in the 2019 drama The Burnt Orange Heresy. Now the 77-year-old Rolling Stones frontman tells Page Six that preparing for the part was a serious undertaking. “I hadn’t acted in so long. I’d forgotten how to do this, how to create this different persona. I had to ask, ‘So how’s this work again?’" he explains. "I actually did homework." Because he was portraying an art dealer, he adds, "I looked into art dealers I knew. Had conversations with them, plus people in the art world. I asked how the business worked, how people make crooked deals, how they make money." Unfortunately for Jagger, the outlet has also seemingly dissed his performance in the picture by declaring, "A Clooney he isn’t." The Burnt Orange Heresy also stars Donald Sutherland, Elizabeth Debicki and Danish actor Claes Bang. It's available to stream on Amazon Prime.
