Paul McCartney has dropped a new four-song EP called Beautiful Night, featuring various versions of the 1997 single of the same name, as well as a 1995 demo of the song, UPI reports. McCartney also shared a newly remastered music video for the song, which features contributions from Jeff Lynne, George Martin, Ringo Starr, and McCartney's late wife, Linda. "I'd been saying to Ringo for years that it'd be great to do something, because we'd never really done that much work together outside the Beatles. One night Jeff Lynne suggested, 'Why don't you get Ringo in?" and I said, 'OK!' It just sort of happened," McCartney said in a statement. The EP comes ahead of the re-release of his 1997 album Flaming Pie, which featured the song "Beautiful Night" as a single. The reissue is due out on July 31, and contains outtakes, studio jams, rough mixes, and a documentary about the making of the album.
