Bob Dylan just surprise-dropped his first new music in eight years, a 17-minute song about President Kennedy's assassination titled "Murder Most Foul." "Greetings to my fans and followers with gratitude for all your support and loyalty across the years. This is an unreleased song we recorded a while back that you might find interesting," he tweeted early Friday. "Stay safe, stay observant and may God be with you." Variety calls the song an "epic free association," with lyrics that "often speak extremely literally of the Kennedy assassination, with a bent toward conspiratorial takes on the event." Meanwhile, Rolling Stone calls it "dizzying, utterly extraordinary [and] absolutely mind-blowing." Dylan's last album of original material, Tempest, came out in 2012.
