Beatles drummer Ringo Starr will turn 80 on July 7--a milestone he'll celebrate with a charity concert on YouTube titled Ringo’s Big Birthday Show. The event will feature a mix of archival concert footage and at-home performances from the likes of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Gary Clark Jr., Ben Harper, and Sheila E. Rolling Stone notes that the Big Birthday Show will also include the debut of a new version of Starr’s 2017 song “Give More Love,” featuring Jackson Browne, Jeff Bridges, Elvis Costello, and Willie Nelson. But wait, there's more! Starr will also premiere several performance tributes on his YouTube page from Steve Earle, Peter Frampton and Judy Collins. The event will benefit the Black Lives Matter Global Network, The David Lynch Foundation, MusiCares, and WaterAid. "I love birthdays,” Starr tells the outlet. “This year is going to be a little different. There’s no big get-together, there’s no brunch for 100. But we’re putting this show together – an hour of music and chat. It’s quite a big birthday.” Ringo's Big Birthday Show kicks off on Tuesday, July 7, starting at at 8 p.m. ET on YouTube.
