Robert Plant Announces 30-Song Anthology "Digging Deep: Subterranea"

Robert Plant will be giving fans something major to dig into this fall. As UPI reports, Plant announced Monday that he will release a 30-song anthology set called Digging Deep: Subterranea on October 2. The anthology will cover his 11-album solo career. In addition, Digging Deep will feature the previously unreleased tracks "Nothing Takes the Place of You" and "Charlie Patton Highway (Turn It Up--Part 1)." The two-disc set will also include collaborations with Patty Griffin, Jimmy Page, Phil Collins, Buddy Miller, Nigel Kelly, and Richard Thompson, among others. Plant, 71, is best known as the lead singer and lyricist for Led Zeppelin. The third season of Plant's podcast Digging Deep With Robert Plant debuted on Monday.
